This spaceship may look like it's designed by a blind man with parkinsons in a hurry but a) the project is not officially "go" yet so I can always tweak it later and b) it'll only whizz by in the background anyway.

Nerds Arise

Getting my head around mind mangling motion tracking program Icarus.



Now, as you surely know, Icarus obtains and calibrates camera information from a 2d source and exports it for full integration with a 3d program and or compositing program. Or some such spoddy nonsense.

If that means nothing to you, congratulations: you have a life.

Basically it stops the computery 3d bit (the Lord Tunley logo) from drunkenly wandering around the footage and so makes it look more a part of the scene.

Nice.
